Terri Lam is a Hong Kong animator and currently studying for her MFA in Experimental Animation at the California Institute of the Arts. As a child, she was found to have a hearing impairment, but the quiet world gave her a stronger focus than the average person, and drawing became her tool for expression.

After her studies in the animation department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and her internship in a graphic design company, her vision expanded and her concept renewed, making her work evolve in many ways. Her sensitivity to graphic design and her personal and emotional rebellious spirit is always present in her works. She is gradually moving away from the creative space and stylistic shaping to explore more the meaning of animation content itself and images and focus on media use. Her animated works Canned Love and Frame have been selected and exhibited in several film festivals.
