My thesis film explores the deep, intertwined bond between mother and daughter—one that nurtures yet entangles, connects yet constrains. Using trees as a central visual motif, the film reflects how maternal influence takes root within the daughter, shaping her identity in ways that feel both inescapable and inevitable. Just like branches that grow together, their relationship is one of both support and tension, where love and control become indistinguishable.
